Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens invites you to enjoy rhododendrons and dogwoods in bloom. Guided garden tours at Noon and 2 p.m. by Ernie Wasson, horticulturalist.
Dunsmuir Wildfire Community Preparedness team will be offering an informational Open House at the Dunsmuir Community Center by the Botanical Gardens from 10am-2pm. Meet and mingle with members of local fire and emergency agencies, the Forest Service, Dunsmuir’s Fire Safe Council and the new Disaster Planning Advisory Committee. FREE hot dogs, chips, and sodas will be provided by the Dunsmuir/Castella Fire Department! Fire engines and emergency vehicles will be on display, and officials will be ready to answer your questions.
Magic Mountain Wellness is offering $1 per minute chair massage all day, and will be hosting Henna Tattoos by Allie Sibner starting at 1:00pm, and Tim Schrum on guitar with Acoustic Americana at 2:00pm. Magic Mountain will also host a very special Movement & Mantra Yoga Workshop with Allie Sibner from 4:00 to 5:30pm featuring gentle Vinyasa Yoga Flow class incorporating Sacred Sounds and Chanting.
Make sure to stop by Mossbrae Hotel for room tours, chocolate dipped strawberries, and street performers who will give you something to smile about.
The Sacred Well is hosting Gael with her fabulous Tea Leaf Readings from 12-4pm, jewelry by Jane, and Gayle with free samples of natural care products.
Siskiyou Arts Museum debuts the Dunsmuir Elementary School Art Show from 5-7pm, featuring work from the “Watershed Art Program“ curated by Rami White.
