Rhatura is a mystic, sage, healer, activist, youth worker, and creative genius with a touch of East Coast and soulful swagger. In the realm of spirituality Rha is a jack-of-all-trades who reads tarot, concocts elixirs and cordials, creates spell candles, prescribes crystal remedies, designs sigils, and explores healing with sound, hands and crystals. The light of his soul serves both as a beacon to guide others to their destinations and as the force that radiates love and understanding to make others feel welcomed, loved, heard, and supported.
Rha's art has decorated the walls of The Sacred Well and has been seen throughout the store on spell candles, store signage, and on greeting cards. His "Untitled Goddess" painting is now a permanent fixture of the store and is hanging near the African masks. You can try Papa Rha's Smoking Blend and Papa Rha's Sun & Moon Elixir at The Sacred Well. You might catch his art and crafts at an Art Murmur, local craft fairs or festivals. As one of the original crew who opened the store, Rha has offered wisdom to thousands of local seekers. Now that he is the Director of the JCC Afterschool program in Oakland, Rha has reduced to only occasional shifts at The Sacred Well, but continues to make magic happen everyday in the lives of all those who he comes across.
