Come crochet your very own hat – one you’ll be proud to wear and pleased to say, “Why yes I made it, thank you!” Please bring:
- 2-3 skeins of yarn in a variety of colors
- 1 croquet hook, sized J, K or L

About Your Instructor
Taliesin Daystar is a crafty witch, who has been creating hats and other warm and wooly goodies since first finding the joy of crocheting over five years ago. A hairstylist at Gente Bella Salon by trade, Taliesin is a Reiki master and is a Priest Initiate with the Come As You Are Coven.

Join Barry for an informal “play” session with the new crystals and stones he brought back from the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, as well as all the old favorites. Check out our exciting additions like amethyst and citrine cathedrals, apophyllite clusters, rutilated quartz spheres, lemurian wands, large shiva lingams, rough Oregon sunstone, scolecite points, glendonites, fulgurites, meteorite pieces, adularian moonstone… and lots of other yummy stuff for all budgets.
About Your Instructor
Barry Perlman, one of the owners of The Sacred Well, is an astrologer and avid crystal enthusiast. His knowledge of stones is the result of a lifetime fascination with gems and minerals. Barry is also available on Fridays at the store for astrological consultations.

About Your Instructor
Iris Bell is a longtime practitioner of meditation and other spiritual arts. Initiated into her family’s Evensong Tradition of Wicca at the age of 13 by her mother, she is now a 3rd degree High Priestess. Iris is an ordained High Priestess in the Dianic Tradition and a member of the Wildflower Priestess Council of Come as You Are Coven. She is currently completing her final year of studies in the Women’s Spirituality Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies and is a valued member of the Sacred Well staff.
Spring Tonics: Herbal Teas and Tisanes

Spring Equinox is a festival of the upcoming growing season – a good time to cleanse the liver after winter’s sluggishness and indulgence in holiday treats. According to herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, a healthy liver can help prevent many health problems, such as allergies, skin eruptions, and digestive discomfort. We’ll prepare and sample a variety of herbs designed to gently cleanse, tone, and support the liver, and each participant will go home with his or her own unique tea blend to drink for the coming weeks.
*A $20 fee for this class will include instruction, sampling, and your own herbal tea blend. The fee will be collected at the class itself. Please RSVP to rabbit@sacredwell.com, or call the store to register for the class at 510-444-9355.
About Your Instructor
Rabbit, one of the owners of The Sacred Well, is a longtime herbalist who has studied independently, and with Rosemary Gladstar’s Sage Mountain School of Herbalism. She is a frequent instructor at the Northern California Women’s Herbal Symposium, and offers herbal consultations at the store.
